Menos de un mes para la salida del esperado álbum del que se rumorea que el primer tema tiene una duración de 8 minutos…

Éste año tuve la oportunidad de vivir dos veintiunos de Abril, uno en Madrid y otro en Barna. No son los primeros y espero que no sean los últimos.

Un 21 de Abril, es aquél día que estás esperando desde que sabes que hay un 21 de Abril a la vista. Un 21 de Abril ese día que sabes que es tu día. Un 21 de Abril es algo especial que no se vive todos los días y que hay que vivir con la mejor compañía. Un 21 de Abril es el día que toca Bruce en la ciudad.

Que por qué 21 de Abril ? Al final te lo cuento.

Cuando toca Bruce sabes que toca noche de Rock & Roll. Noche de magia, de emociones, de felicidad, de locura, de escepticismo. Si has visto a Brucey en directo sabes de lo que estoy hablando.

La última gira dicen los entendidos que ha sido la mejor. El propio Bruce y la E – Street Band así lo creen y para dejar plasmada toda esa energía, han decidido grabar todo lo que han ido desgranando de los mejores momentos de la gira, esos temas que surgieron entre show y show entre bastidores y que pensaron que deberían estar mejor al aire libre. Todo ello mezclado con la euforia que les ha dado el señor Obama, parece va a desembocar en un álbum del mas puro estilo E -Street.

De momento el nuevo álbum parece que se llamará Working on a Dream, y aparte del regalazo del primer tema, que descubrimos gracias a la Obamamanía, nos deja otro regalito. Por que es nuestro día de suerte, My Lucky Day.

Al verlo por primera vez me reí. Me reí por lo grande que es este tipo. Me reí como me río al ver a Kobie Bryant hacer una de las suyas. Igual. Esencia del rock. Me recuerda a temas de la mejor época.

Creo que cuando éste hombre aparece con la escoba barre del panorama todo a su alrededor. Hace que todo lo demás parezca música de marcas blandas. De relleno.

De echo la canción sin video vale aún más.

Y rumores de una posible gira en 2009, cosa que parecía harto improbable, pero… eso forma parte de la magia.
